February 23: In Germany, 209.052 new cases of Covid-19 infection, deaths per day from covid – 299

On February 23, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports 209.052 new cases of Covid-19 infection, which is more than the previous day (125.902). 299 deaths from corona were registered per day. The nationwide 7-day incidence dropped to 1278.9 (1306.8). 75.2 percent of the German population has been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Germany, it has been identified 13.971.947 cases of virus infection. This means that the number of cases compared to the previous day increased by 209.052 case. In total, as a result of the disease Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic died 121.902 person.
