HOW TO KEEP HIZIR FAST?

Alevi Bektashis do not have sahur while fasting. -On the 3rd day of the Khidr fast, wheat grains are roasted on the stove and ground in a stone mill according to tradition. Wheat flour ground with a hand mill is the size of semolina. -After grinding the flour, it is collected together and poured onto a tray or a clean piece of cloth. It is kept overnight. Young girls or boys at home, after making the intention and going to sleep, get up in the morning and look at the cloth. If there are traces on the flour, they believe that Hızır has visited and they pray. -The prepared flour is prepared and eaten like halva by adding butter to it for dinner. The remaining part is distributed to neighbors. -Families with good financial means then make sacrifices with Pirin prayers.
