“I still have to operate on my knee. I hope to be back, but it’s hard.” Roger Federer, 40, has to undergo a new knee surgery after the problems he accused “during the grass season”. “I need to have an operation, I will be on crutches for many weeks and I will be absent from the fields for many months,” Federer says in a video posted on social media. “It will be very tough but I want to feel good and give myself a little hope of returning to play,” explains Federer. “I’m a realist, I know what another operation means at my age, but I want to be healthy and active.”
