On the night between Friday and last Saturday, a historic moment happened to him – Roger Federer, a tennis legend and who is considered one of the greatest players, if not the greatest in history, played his last match. Symbolically, he shared his last moments in competitive tennis with his great rival on the courts, Rafael Nadal. The two teamed up to play in a doubles tournament, as part of the Labor Cup and lost to Jack Sock and Frances Tiefou in three sets. His family, other tennis legends such as John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg and of course Novak Djokovic, along with many celebrities, were present in the world together with 20 thousand excited spectators.

This is how Federer said in the interview at the end of the match: “It was a great day, I told the players that I was happy and not sad. It feels great to be here and I enjoyed wearing my shoes for the last time. Everything was for the last time. Being here with the crowd, I didn’t feel pressure because I was here With family and friends. I’m so happy that I was able to play. It was a great game and I couldn’t be happier. It was wonderful.
