A worker was killed today (Monday) after falling from a height at a construction site in Moshav Beit Nakofa. MDA medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene gave him medical treatment and performed CPR on him, which in the end had to be pronounced dead.
Hapoel, a Palestinian in the 1940s, fell from a height while working in a warehouse in Moshav in the Mate Yehuda Regional Council. Police forces that arrived at the scene began investigating the circumstances of the case and collecting findings on the spot.
MDA paramedic, Liron Davis, and MDA emergency medicine medic, Moshe Balch, said: “When we arrived at the construction site, they led us to the worker who was lying unconscious and with a severe head injury after falling from a height of about 8 meters. He was without a pulse and not breathing , we immediately began to perform prolonged resuscitation operations on him, in the end we had to determine his death.”
This is another case in which a laborer was recently killed while working, after about a week ago a laborer was killed while working at the Eyal checkpoint, after being hit by a heavy object during road works near the Neve Yamin intersection.
