Thrissur: Complaint that a female car passenger caused a traffic jam by stopping her vehicle on the one way. The incident took place in Vellankallur, Thrissur. Due to this, people were stuck on the road for about an hour at ten o’clock on Friday morning. It is reported that a lawyer from Alur came with the car. Meanwhile, a complaint was raised that a group of women who got off the bus assaulted the young woman. With this, the police registered a case on the complaint of causing traffic obstruction and on the complaint of encroachment.
From Kurukancherry to Kodungallur, road work is going on in various parts in between. Road renovation works are in progress. Vehicles are being diverted on this road, including from the Vellankallur side. You should not go this way towards Kodungallur, you should turn back. Directional boards have been put up for this purpose.
Meanwhile, the woman came with the car. Coming from Natavaramb side, before reaching Vellankallur junction, the young woman came in such a way that she could not even give her side when private buses and others were coming from the opposite direction. Locals allege that the woman did not agree to move the vehicle from the spot or take it back. The people in the bus came out. The Iringalakuda police stated that there was a traffic jam for about an hour.
