Ferragosto in the name of music in Careggine with the Serchio delle Muse

The village of Careggine is getting ready to spend a Ferragosto dedicated to music with the artists of the festival Serchio of the Muses.

Tomorrow (15th August), at 9pm, the review conceived by Master Luigi Roni will be on stage, with an opera concert, in front of the Pieve dei SS. Pietro e Paolo. Performing will be the interpreters Serena Farnocchia (soprano), Alessandro Fantoni (tenor), Marzio Giossi (baritone) and Nicolò Lautieri (bass) who, to the notes of Chiara Mariani (piano), will perform the most famous arias by Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini – this year marks the centenary of his death -, with forays into the repertoire of Francesco Paolo Tosti and Vincenzo Bellini. Admission to the evening is free.
