The Trentino group Lunelli toasts with the cedar Tassoni. The Trentino family that in 1952 took over the Ferrari cellars from their founder, Giulio Ferrari, bought the Cedral Tassoni di Salò, the company known for its citrus-based non-alcoholic drinks starting with cedar. A note informs that the Lunelli group, which among others has it in its portfolio Ferrari sparkling wine, mineral water Surgiva and grappas Segnana, “it was selected at the end of a competitive process, also in consideration of its values ​​of respect for tradition, search for quality and care for the territory”. There were competing with the Ferrari cellars Italian and international groups.

“We will aim to further strengthen the brand, positioning it as the Luxury Soft Drink Italian par excellence. We plan to increase the presence on international markets and to develop the range that already combines cedrata with soft drinks created with sustainable raw materials of the highest quality “, commented the Ceo Matteo Lunelli, also president of Altagamma, the Foundation to which 107 brands known all over the world belong to the most representative sectors of the excellence of Made in Italy: fashion, design, food, boating, motors, jewelery and hospitality.

The sales procedure was handled by the advisor Equita and according to some rumors the sale would have taken place around 20 million euros. To sell the president Michela Redini, great-grandson of the group’s founder Paolo Amadei, which holds 75% of the share capital. Tassoni can count on a turnover of over ten million euros, with a still limited share of revenues generated abroad (just over 5%).
