The pertinent authorities of 14 national institutions involved in the operation of this project welcomed the ship and took a tour inside, together with officials from the Ferri technical desk, guided by the president of the Blue Wave corporation, Karl Berkling. , and the director of the Ferri Blue Wave project, Michael Volks.
The Bule Wave Corporation, owner of the ship, reacted on its social networks with the following message: “We are excited and honored to be part of this unique moment with the Blue Wave Harmony ferry that will connect El Salvador and Costa Rica.”
Defense Minister René Francis Merino Monroy reported that the Commander-in-Chief of the National Navy supervised the reception of the ferry, which, he said, “will improve trade between the two countries.”
