After the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) underwent a major reshuffle. Nazmul Hasan Papon resigned from the post of President, Farooq Ahmed replaced him. As of now several posts are vacant.
All in all, BCB was in a buzzing atmosphere, with an unforgettable series win against Pakistan adding to the festive atmosphere. Tuesday (September 3) afternoon witnessed a different atmosphere.
Sweets were distributed at the BCB office after the win. Everyone present shares the joy with each other. From the big boss to the groundsman, everyone shared the joy on this day.
Director Nazmul Abedin Fahim was present till afternoon. He left in the late afternoon. Earlier he gave a response to the media. No other director was seen till afternoon. Apart from this, President Farooq is staying in Dubai.
Meanwhile, Nazmul Hossain talked to the chief adviser Mohammad Yunus. Director Fahim informed about awarding them. However, the key award has not yet been confirmed.
Fahim said, ‘The captain has spoken with the chief advisor. Will surely be rewarded. But I don’t know what we can reward.’
‘The general monetary reward is. I think that there is no greater reward than the respect they brought to the country, the way they were honored.’- added Fahim.
