Speaking on this occasion, the dean of the faculty of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry, Adil Ibrahimi, indicated that the tribute paid to Youssef En-Nesyri constitutes a symbolic gesture in recognition of the efforts made by the player and for the performance of all the elements of the national selection.

The national team’s feat in the 2022 World Cup should be an inspiration to all young people to move forward, persevere and work towards achieving their dreams, he added.

In a statement to the press, Moroccan national team player Youssef En-Nesyri said that he spent about five years at the Mohammed VI Football Academy, which helped him develop his talent and progress towards professionalism, stressing that it is an important formative experience in his career.

The Moroccan international wanted to thank the inhabitants of his hometown and the Moroccan public in general, for the love and recognition they have shown towards him.

Moroccan player Youssef En-Nesyri was born in June 1997 in Fez, where he played football from a young age. He joined the Maghreb of Fez (MAS) by playing in the different categories within the club of the spiritual capital.

The Moroccan striker joined the Mohammed VI Football Academy in 2011, before joining the Spanish club Seville four years later.
