A tragic traffic collision in Saddleworth, Greater Manchester, has resulted in one death and left another individual fighting for their life. The incident, involving a Fiat 500 and a bungalow, occurred shortly before 9:20 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025, in the village of Diggle.

A spokesperson stated that three fire engines – dispatched from Oldham, Mossley, and Stalybridge fire stations – responded to a report of a car having entered a bungalow on Dorset Avenue in Oldham at approximately 9:20 a.m. on December 8.

“Firefighters arrived quickly to make the vehicle safe and remove one person from the vehicle,” the spokesperson added. Crews remained at the scene for roughly two hours, ensuring the area was secure. The road was closed for several hours to facilitate police inquiries.
