After announcing the image corresponding to this recent edition in the last days of January and announcing at the beginning of March the retrospective to honor Paul Leduc, the UNAM International Film Festival (A fig tree) has announced the competing sections for this 14th edition.
In its announcement, the festival points out:
“This year the festival delves into a cinematographic exploration that transcends borders, highlighting content made in Latin America. FICUNAM thus consolidates itself as a meeting space for diversity and audiovisual creativity in the region, reaffirming its commitment to the promotion and dissemination of independent and auteur cinema.

Respect to Now Mexicoit is a space that “seeks films capable of enhancing and expanding the collective reading of what is Mexican from the most audacious cinematographic proposals”. The Mexican films to compete are:
