As for the Club World Cup, for now the only confederation that does not have an established women’s tournament is Concacaf. However, in March of this year the creation of the Women’s Champions Cup was announced, which will be held for the first time between August of this year and May 2025.

Among the teams expected to compete in this first edition are Barcelona, Olympique Lyon and Wolfsburg, which are powerhouses in Europe, as well as Porthland Torns, the biggest winner of the National Women Soccer League. Meanwhile, from Conmebol, one of the clubs that could seek its ticket is Corinthians, the club with the most titles in the Copa Libertadores Femenina.
