Created in 1982 to encourage the five million French people who practice a musical instrument to share their passion with their neighbours, the Fête de la Musique celebrated its 40th anniversary last year. Because the 2023 edition promises to be very rich, Point has selected the concerts not to be missed in ten cities in France. Ask for the program!

Under the Louvre Pyramid

The Orchester de Paris, conducted by Klaus Mäkelä, meets you under the Louvre pyramid at 10 p.m. Even if the places are free, remember to book on the museum website, because they are limited. On the program: three pieces by Puccini and Gabrieli for a trip to Italy, in a nod to the “Naples in Paris” exhibition. But also Atmospheres by Ligeti, and the sequel from Fire Bird de Stravinsky.
