Young entrepreneurs and startuppers were received yesterday at the State Palace of Iavoloha as part of the Malagasy Youth Business Meeting organized by the Fihariana program.
Thirty-six young entrepreneurs representing the primary, secondary, tertiary, eco-responsibility and organic sectors exchanged with President Rajoelina on their experiences, the difficulties they face and their prospects. It was also an opportunity to gather around a table the leaders of emerging SMEs/TPMEs, who are not always counted in meetings with the private sector.
The State is ready to support young people to promote their sector of activity, said Andry Rajoelina. He mentioned support for certifications, access to financing, in particular with the Fihariana program, a national state program whose main objective is to provide both technical and financial support to entrepreneurs. The amount of project financing by Fihariana varies between 200,000 and 200 million Ar.
The nine finalists of the “3, 2,1 Pitch!” By Fihariana” at the end of the National Investment Forum for the emergence of Madagascar last October at the CCI Ivato were also awarded a bonus yesterday by the State.
