Religious advisor. A F M Khalid Hossain said that all the activities of the world should be accountable to Allah. If you do a good deed, you will get its benefits, but if you do a bad deed, you will have to suffer the consequences.

He said these things in his speech as the chief guest at the Central Jame Masjid Doa Mahfil at the Secretariat on Tuesday (September 17) on the occasion of the holy Eid Miladunnabi (PBUH).

The religious advisor said, even if you can escape from the ACC, intelligence agency or departmental disciplinary system in this world, there is no way to get salvation in the afterlife.

The advisor said that corruption has taken an institutional form in this country, if bribes are not given on the table, the file does not move. Red tape violence has become a hindrance to building a democratic and accountable country. A little taste of power has given us the mentality of looting, smuggling money abroad and making homes abroad. We want to get out of this culture.

Referring to corruption using religion as a farce, the religious advisor said, we keep long beards, take bribes and perform Hajj-Umrah with bribe money. We must avoid this culture.

Quoting the hadith, the adviser said, Allah will not accept it if Hajj-Umrah is performed with money earned illegally. Even a body made up of illegal income will not enter heaven. He requested everyone to earn in halal ways.

Dr. Khalid said, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) came to the world and established a humane society. Before his coming, there was no such thing as human rights. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) first announced that there is no special status of non-Arabs over Arabs or Arabs over non-Arabs, blacks over whites or whites over blacks, all people of the world are equal.

Dr. Khalid also said that the state work we are doing is also worship. If you take a bribe and commit corruption, you will be deprived of that worship. He requested everyone to cherish the ideals of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as well as spread them among others.

Quoting the hadith, the religious adviser said, if a Muslim in a Muslim state tortures or oppresses a non-Muslim citizen, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) will stand against that Muslim on the Day of Judgment. Therefore, if we want to build a communally harmonious country, then there is no other option but to follow the ideals of the Prophet (PBUH).
