Erode: Erode Economic Crimes Police has called to file a complaint against Sun Micro Finance for fraud by taking advance money and not giving loans.
Bhavani, Kalingarayanpalayam, Sun Micro Finance started functioning on 21st Sep, 2020. The owners are Trichy, Thirumalai Samudram Vedagiri, 39; Sureshkumar, 37, North Gateway, Thanjavur; Vikravandi Ilanthalir, 30, of Villupuram, acted. In Bhavani and surrounding areas, they advertised loans to individuals and women’s self-help groups.
They charged more than 100 people up to 1,250 rupees per person as a document fee to get a loan. However, they disappeared within a month without providing the loan. According to the complaint of the victims, Erode Economic Offenses Division police searched for Vedagiri, Suresh Kumar and Ilanthalir. In Tenkasi district, the police arrested three persons who committed similar fraud. In this, Ilanthalir continued to engage in fraud, and the Anti-Hooligan Act was imposed on him.
Meanwhile, the police are involved in the process of getting compensation to the affected people from Bhawani and surrounding area.
