Alternative Credit Company entered the Alternative Securities Market (MAV), a segment created by the Superintendence of the Securities Market (SMV). After 22 years of operations in the microfinance sector in the north of the country, the entry will occur with a program of short-term instruments for an amount of S/ 30 million.
For this, the company hopes to soon make its first issue of S/ 15 million over 12 months, after having obtained authorization from the SMV.

“For the last five years, the company has been showing favorable financial results, based on efficient strategies and good management that have allowed it to maintain leadership in the microfinance sector,” said Fernando Bautista, general manager of Empresa de Crédito Alternativa .
Currently, the financial institution has more than 55,000 clients. From now on, it will continue to focus on financial inclusion in the northern and eastern regions of Peru through consulting and training.
“By entering the Stock Market, we increase our standards of transparency and good corporate governance, by being part of the Public Registry of the Stock Market (RPMV),” said the executive.
