The bodies of six people shot dead were found in a desert area 80 kilometers from Los Angeles, Los Angeles County authorities reported this Wednesday. San Bernardino in California, United States, where the event occurred.

It was yesterday afternoon when five of the victims were found in the undergrowth of this desert area surrounded by bullet casings, as well as a van and an SUV, which also received hits and damage to their windows.
The sixth dead person was located this Wednesday morning near the crime scene.
At the moment, California authorities have not provided information about how the event unfolded, the sex or age of the deceased. However, the sheriff’s office has confirmed that any related crimes in other locations have been ruled out and that they are only gathering evidence in the El Mirage community.

“It will still be several hours before we are ready to remove any bodies from the scene,” Rodríguez added this morning.
The dirt road where the incident occurred is within the Mojave Desert (southern California) and its accessibility is so complex that the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Office asked the aviation division of the California Highway Patrol for help to obtain an aerial image of the place.
