Minister of Foreign Affairs Alizabri has said that solving the ethnic problem is very good for the North and the South.
He mentioned this while participating in the all-party meeting chaired by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Commenting on this, he said, ‘The discussions of the Human Rights Commission held in Geneva and the discussions being conducted at the international level regarding Sri Lanka are being conducted under two main issues.
The reports of the Lessons Learned Commission, Physiological Commission and Paranagama Commission which we have presented there have been considered.
Thus, in all the reports, they have pointed out that while solutions could be provided to incidents in the country, solutions could not be provided under foreign mechanisms.
For this, even when we had promised to provide remedies under the domestic mechanism, it has not been implemented.
According to the President, former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa appointed the Nawaz Commission.
