(24 News) The Department of Statistics has released the findings report of the seventh digital census, according to which the total population of Pakistan is 241.4 million 90 thousand.

Statistics Institute says that 2 crore 53 lakh 70 thousand children from 5 to 16 years of age are out of school in Pakistan, 3.10 percent of the total population in Pakistan are disabled, including 3.30 percent and 2.88 disabled per mile.

The report further states that after 2017, the highest population growth recorded in 2023, Pakistan recorded a literacy rate of 61 percent, of which 68 percent are literate and 53 percent are literate per mile.

Statistics Institute says that 9.6 lakh children in Punjab, 7.8 lakh children in Sindh, 4.9 lakh children in KP, and more than 50 lakh children in Balochistan are unable to go to school.

According to the report, 79 percent of the people living in Pakistan are under 40 years of age, 40.56 percent of the population is under 15 years of age, and 26 percent of the population is 15 to 29 years of age.

The report states that 79 percent of Pakistan’s total population is under the age of 40, 29.75 percent of people in the country are single, 65.97 percent of married people in Pakistan and 65.97 percent of widows in the country. The rate is 3.78%, divorce rate in Pakistan is 0.35% and separation rate in Pakistan is 0.15%.
