After criticism for a party video, Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin has received prominent support: former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton published a photo on Twitter on Sunday that she was at exuberant dancing indicates. “This is me in Cartagena, where I was for a meeting as secretary of state,” Clinton commented on the picture taken in Colombia in April 2012. “Keep dancing @marinsanna,” she added to the Prime Minister of Finland.

Marin was in the criticism advised, after a video of her dancing and partying with friends went viral. Marin then defended her right to a private life and emphasized that she had “not missed a single day at work”.

The 36 year old social democrat is the youngest prime minister in the history of Finland. When she took office in 2019, she was the youngest head of government in the world at the age of 34. Hillary Clinton was US Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013 under President Barack Obama.
