There is a heavy smoke build-up at the site and according to the rescue service, the smoke is moving towards the city.

The emergency services have issued a VMA, an important message to the public, where residents in the area are asked to go inside and close doors, windows, and ventilation.

There is a risk of more explosions and the police have set up cordons of between 100 and 300 meters.

E45 is closed in both directions.

“The road is closed due to a lot of smoke and poor visibility,” writes the Swedish Transport Administration.

The fire is fully developed and the building cannot be saved.

– Efforts will be directed at protecting surrounding buildings, but there is still a risk of explosion. At 05.21 a preliminary forecast of six hours was set, says an alarm operator at SOS Alarm to Mora Tidning.
