Gameplay, Setting, and the Four Heroes
Set within the Dagdan Empire—described as a prosperous land ruled by the gods—the narrative centers around the Heroic Games. Held in the capital city of Dagsion in tribute to the empire’s founding king Solel, fighters gather to compete for a single granted wish. Players take on the role of a protagonist who travels back in time to guide four heroes whose fates are tied to the survival of the world against the demon god Balor.
The four playable protagonists each pursue distinct motivations during the tournament:

- Cai: A young boy from the village of Ribeira striving to win the games and rescue his imprisoned father.
- Dietrich: A swordsman who enters the tournament with new allies after washing ashore following an attack by an enormous monster.
- Theodora: A queen from the kingdom of Saramis leading veteran retainers to honor her goddess and defend her realm’s peace.
- Leda: A musician of prestige who sacrifices everything to seek vengeance against her father’s murderer.
Players can experience the stories of all four characters in parallel, utilizing time-travel mechanics to alternate between paths while keeping saved progress intact.
City Exploration and Combat Mechanics
Between matches in the Heroic Games, players can explore Dagsion to visit establishments for equipment and boons, train at grounds to learn new moves, recruit allies, and venture beyond the city walls to gather raw materials and uncover an expansive world map.
Combat encounters vary depending on location. Traditional strategic battles occur during the formal matches of the Games, which may feature unique rules or terrain conditions. Outside the capital, players can explore dungeons to collect treasures and upgrade materials. Enemy encounters in dungeons trigger turn-based “clashes,” where selected characters execute attack combos back and forth until one party is defeated.
