According to G. Palucka, some party leaders “fire fuses” before ⁢elections, but he downplays the criticism directed at them.

He argued ‌that both the Olympics and elections require self-control, composure, and the ability to‍ handle pressure. He noted that not everyone can handle these challenges in either setting.

Palucka also addressed criticism from some opposition leaders, who have‍ criticized the Social Democrats and ⁢suggested that their leader, Vilija Blinkevičiūtė, should invite them to negotiations. He countered these ⁢criticisms‌ with his⁣ own counter-arguments, which ‍he outlined in ⁤an interview.

R. Karbauskis, another political figure, expressed doubts about Palucka’s suitability for the prime minister’s ⁤position. He argued that Paluckas lacks experience and is not qualified to manage the country and its economy.

Karbauskis suggested ⁢that the Social⁢ Democrats should consider withdrawing from the ruling coalition if Paluckas⁣ becomes their candidate⁤ for prime minister.

Paluckas himself has ⁣expressed confidence ‍that he is prepared to become prime minister if his party‌ wins the upcoming ‌parliamentary elections in the fall.
