An 18-year-old boy suffered severe burns after cutting his hair with fire at Vapi in Valsad district of Gujarat. Later, the young man was shifted to Civil Hospital in Valsad for expert treatment.
The shop worker used some chemical on his head to cut his hair with fire. This causes the fire to spread. Police said they are investigating what chemical was used.
Meanwhile, in the circulating footage, it is clear that the employee uses a spray-like chemical before setting the hair on fire. After trying to remove the hair with fire, it was not possible and the flames spread. There is widespread protest against these scenes circulating on social media. Many people are of the opinion that such activities that threaten the lives of the youth should be stopped.
