Just before 2am, a Silver Spring family was alerted to smoke in their home by #Alexa. Pete Pringer, a government spokesman from the area, said of the incident that the family involved had an Alexa device at home. While they were sleeping at night in their home, the Alexa device gave an emergency alert. When they woke up, they saw smoke coming from a fire in their house. Good job they avoided all major fires in the early stages of the fire thanks to Alexa’s warning. Otherwise, if the fire had spread during sleep, the lives of six people would have been in great danger, he said.
