jpnn.comSERANG – Former PDI-P politician Tia Rahmania will take legal action after failing to be appointed as a member of the DPR for the 2024-2029 period.
Tia was canceled as a member of the DPR due to the decision issued by the Indonesian KPU regarding the replacement of the elected candidate.
Responding to this decision, Tia said she would take legal steps to fight for her fate.
“Currently I am preparing legal steps regarding this matter,” said Tia to JPNN, Thursday (26/9).
Tia admitted that she only found out about her replacement one day after the letter was signed by the Indonesian KPU.
“I only found out about this (the change in selected candidates) on the evening of September 24 2024,” he said.
Previously it was reported that the PDI Perjuangan reportedly fired the DPR-elected legislative candidate (candidate) Tia Rahmania from political party membership.
As a result of this dismissal, Tia was canceled as a member of the DPR RI for 2024-2029.
Tia Rahmania will not remain silent after being fired by the PDI Perjuangan and failing to be appointed as a member of the DPR.
