In a conversation with the Indian media, the actress said that 27 years ago she was harassed and tried to rape her. He further said that when he forcibly took his two assistants with him, there were 7 to 8 drunken people in the producer’s room, one of whom attacked my assistant and tried to remove her saree, on which my When the male assistant stopped him, he was badly beaten.

Charmila said that while someone grabbed my hand, I bit it and ran outside the hotel to save my life and asked people for help. At that time, a group of rickshaw pullers was passing by, who helped me and father. Called then the police also arrived.

Charmela claimed that I was fired from 28 films because I refused to ‘adjust’ i.e. refuse to have a ‘physical relationship’ in exchange for work in the film in Codewords, recounting another incident and stating that Malayalam. Director Hariharan was met by me and actress Vishnu, we had coffee and discussed the script, then I was sent away, later actor Vishnu was told by the director to ask Charmela to ‘adjust’. When the actor refused, both of them had to wash their hands of the film.

Later, actor Vishnu confirmed Charmela’s allegation and said that director Hariharan had asked for an adjustment, which resulted in both being fired from the film.

It should be noted that the Hema Committee report on sexual exploitation of actresses in the Malayalam film industry has also stated that the biggest problem faced by women in the industry is sexual harassment and many women are afraid to speak openly about it. They are because they are afraid that if they say anything in this regard, the industry will ban and no one will work.
