A passenger in a luxury vehicle was shot dead.

Two men on a motorcycle intercepted a person who was traveling in a Prado vehicle in Panantura Pinwatthi area on Tuesday morning and fled with a gun.

The person who was traveling in the vehicle died on the spot.
