Doha: The first batch of Typhoon Jet will arrive in Qatar from August. This was stated by Air Marshal Martin Elliott Sampson, Senior Adviser on the UK Defense and Senior Royal Air Force Officer in the Middle East and North Africa.
He said military leaders in Qatar and the UK understood the need for training and equipment. He explained the aspects of cooperation between the two countries in naval support, including agreements requiring cooperation in shipbuilding programs to enhance naval capabilities, cooperation in the areas of cyber and space security, and cooperation between the military institutions of the two countries.
A British military official has said that Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani’s visit to the UK will take relations between the two countries to another level and further enhance the future of cooperation between the two countries.
