First country in the world to ban electric vehicles!

by time news

While all the countries of the world are promoting the use of electric vehicles, the information says that the use of electric vehicles will soon be banned in Switzerland.

The ban on electric vehicles in Switzerland is not permanent. It is said that it will be banned only in winter.

Domestic electricity generation in Switzerland is only 25 percent. The remaining 75 percent of electricity demand is met only by crude oil, petrol products, natural gas and coal.

In winter Switzerland, power shortages can be extreme. So the Swiss government has decided to reduce electricity consumption in four steps to fix the electricity shortage in winter.

The third step is to ban the use of electric vehicles. This is not a complete ban. It is said that it is only for winter. If there is a ban on electric vehicles, they can only be used for essential tasks like going to the hospital and going to court.

Also in winters houses should be kept under 20 degrees Celsius and not heated above. Washing machines should only be used at temperatures up to 40 percent degrees Celsius.

In case of power shortage in Switzerland despite following all these steps, all shops will be ordered to close for 2 hours every day. It has been reported that there will be a ban on sports competitions, music programs, plays etc.
