The restaurateurs of the state capital invite you to the first gourmet festival with “GenussPur”. The start is a white sausage party in the town hall, followed by 18 themed evenings in 13 different establishments.
It is probably the tastiest premiere this year in St. Pölten: With “GenussPur” a gourmet festival will take place in the state capital for the first time. It is organized by the “gastro*stp” hosts’ association and was initiated by the newly elected chairman Matthias Strunz from the Figl restaurant: “I wanted to do something for our restaurateurs and for gourmets from St. Pölten and the surrounding area. I am delighted that 13 companies are taking part the first time.” It starts on October 9th with a white sausage party in the town hall, which is organized jointly by the association’s board of directors. After that, 18 themed evenings until November 9 ensure plenty of variety on the plates. “There’s something for everyone, from award-winning cuisine to a beer menu,” says Strunz. A small excerpt: Oktoberfest at the lake in the SeeLounge (October 13th), Gatsby Night in the SchauSpiel (October 25th), “Poaching in traditional costumes” (October 27th) in the boathouse or “Bürgermeister kocht!” in the Figl restaurant ( 4 November).
