jpnn.comMANDALIKA – PT Indonesian Tourism Development (ITDC) and PT Pertamina inaugurated the Pertamina MotoGP Experience Gallery to coincide with the qualifying race for the 2024 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, on Saturday (28/9).
Indonesia made history by inaugurating the Pertamina MotoGPTM Experience Gallery at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, which is the first MotoGP gallery in the world.
The Pertamina MotoGP Experience Gallery will enrich visitors’ experiences during the race and can become a tourist magnet throughout the year.
This inauguration marks an important achievement for Indonesia, as well as strengthening the position of the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit as a world-class international racing destination.
“The inauguration of the Pertamina MotoGPTM Experience Gallery not only strengthens Mandalika’s position as an international racing destination, but also makes a major contribution to the tourism sector in Central Lombok,” said InJourney’s Director of Marketing and Tourism Programs, Maya Watono.
“This gallery is expected to attract the interest of domestic and international tourists, but also make Mandalika a comprehensive sports and entertainment tourism destination while introducing the rich culture and natural beauty of Indonesia to the wider world,” added Maya.
PT Pertamina, as the main supporter of the 2024 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia (IndonesianGP), is committed to supporting the development of the tourism ecosystem in Indonesia through strategic collaboration.
“We are proud to be part of this historic moment. “The presence of this museum not only strengthens the position of the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit as a world-class racing destination, but also as a center for education and information on the history of the development of the world of motor racing,” said the President Director of PT Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati.
