Samsung is preparing to launch the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, a new version of its famous foldable smartphone. After three first more or less successful models, the firm seems convinced of a future for foldable phones. Still a leader in the field with its latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, the South Korean firm therefore seems ready to offer new improvements for its foldable flagship. What will the features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 be?
After the latest smartphones in the S22 range, Samsung should now be looking at its range of foldable smartphones, and in particular the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. If no official announcement has yet been made on the subject from the firm, it would be very surprising if Samsung did without a 4th version of its famous foldable phone. For the latter, it seems that the manufacturer has listened to the main criticisms of the Fold 3 in order to prepare its successor.
Among the new features to come for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, we would find the integrated S-Pen stylus. Samsung had notably made the Fold 3 compatible with the latter, but without including it with the purchase or in a compartment provided for! The manufacturer would have listened to feedback from its community on the subject, and would offer a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 with a slot for storing the S-Pen stylus, as is currently the case for the Samsung S22 Ultra.
According to the first leaks reported by the specialized site The Elec, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 would mainly be an improvement on its predecessor. The screen would have dimensions very close to the Fold 3 (7.56 “for the internal screen and 6.19” for the external screen). The design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 would therefore change very little, apart from its location reserved for the S-Pen stylus.
What price for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4?
No official announcement has been communicated on a potential price of the future Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. However, it is a safe bet that the manufacturer is relying on the previous prices used for the marketing of the previous model. As a reminder, the Fold 3 was marketed at the end of August 2021 from 1,799 euros in its version with 256 GB of storage space. If Samsung repeats the same policy, we can already imagine the following prices for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4:
