Mohali: Former India captain Gautam Gambhir wants to stop over-celebrating former captain Virat Kohli. Gambhir said that star worship should end and the country and cricket should be important.
Gautam Gambhir has again criticized Virat Kohli after making several remarks against him in recent days. Gambhir criticizes that fans are now celebrating Kohli like they celebrated Kapil Dev and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Virat Kohli was the only one in the picture when he scored a century against Afghanistan. Everyone ignored Bhuvneshwar Kumar who took five wickets in the same match. I was the only one who mentioned it during the commentary. The country should get out of star worship. Two things made all of this happen. The first is social media followers. This will be the most fake thing in India. People are judged by how many followers they have. The second thing is the media and broadcasters.
