A billionaire is being forced to wait even though he paid for the first private spacewalk. This comes after SpaceX delayed by several hours the launch of members of the Polaris Dawn mission on Thursday, the AP reported.

Tech entrepreneur Jared Isaacman and his crew began preparing for the venture soon after they launched into orbit on Tuesday for a five-day flight.

However, Elon Musk’s company SpaceX announced the postponement an hour before the planned start of the spacewalk.

There was no immediate explanation, but the company said in Aix that “all systems are working fine.”

Isaacman and a SpaceX engineer will take turns exiting their capsule hundreds of kilometers above Earth, sticking close to the hatch. Two other crew members will remain strapped to their seats because the entire capsule will be depressurized during the walk.

Isaacman funds SpaceX for the first commercial spacewalk, during which he must test a new spacesuit for outer space.
