After a long period in the player market, Hapoel Jerusalem found the reinforcement for the squad: the guard Brandon Brown signed with the team from the capital and will join the contract until the end of the season.

The 33-year-old Brown (1.83) started the current season in Greek Parish, but was released due to personal reasons. Even before that, he went through many stops in Europe, when last season he was a partner in the good season of the Romanian Cluj and in 20/21 he played alongside Tomer Ginat in the Metropolitans.

Brown comes as an addition to Aleksandar Džikić’s squad and not in place of any of the existing players, in order to deepen the back line and allow for different rotations in the league games. Thus, Brown will be the team’s seventh foreigner.

In Cluj, Brown averaged 9 points, 3.6 assists and 1.6 rebounds per game. In doing so, he improved his averages from the season in Paris Lablois, when he scored 7.9 points and averaged 3.1 assists per game.
