The First Quarterly Business Review Conference of Premier Bank PLC was held on Friday (April 19) at the Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel. Bir Muktijoddha, the chairman of the board of directors of the bank, was present as the chief guest at the event. HBM Iqbal.
The meeting chaired by Managing Director and CEO M Riazul Karim was attended by Vice Chairman Moin Iqbal (joined virtually), M Imran Iqbal (Chairman of Risk Management Committee), Shafiqur Rahman, Jamal G Ahmed, Nahian Haroon, Independent Director Qaijar A Chowdhury, Nab Gopal Banik, Mohammad Abu Jafar (Managing Director, Designated) along with high ranking officials were present.

All the branch managers, zonal heads and heads of various departments of the head office who participated in the conference reviewed the business performance of the bank in the first quarter of 2024 and emphasized on the techniques and challenges of bank business development to achieve the target in the last quarter of 2024.
In 2024, to take Premier Bank further in the list of the best banks in the country, the bank’s MD and CEO, along with the senior officers, opined that it is necessary to introduce planned business and new business products subject to the review of economic areas and overall commercial progress.
