No new coronavirus cases were registered in Malta on the last day and it is the first time it has happened in about eleven months. Health Minister Chris Fearne wrote it on Twitter, underlining that ” it is essential that we maintain discipline and responsibility ”. This is the ” first day with zero cases since last summer ”, wrote the minister, while ‘Times of Malta’ cited the date of 25 July 2020.
In all, 30,571 cases of Covid-19 have been registered in Malta, while about seventy are active. Over 550,000 people have received at least the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
