jpnn.comJAKARTA – Songdut singers Happy Asmara and Denny Caknan will be the performers at the peak night of ANTV’s 31st Anniversary celebration, which will be held on Thursday, (7/3) at 18.00 WIB.
This is the first time the former couple has appeared together on a television show.
When met by media crew, Happy Asmara admitted that he did not feel awkward about sharing the stage with Denny Caknan.
“No (awkward), why is it awkward? It’s normal, right? It’s normal,” said Happy Asmara in the Cawang area, East Jakarta, Wednesday (6/3).
Happy Asmara actually admitted that he was enthusiastic about being able to share the stage with fellow Javanese musicians at an event.
According to him, there is a special sense of pride when regional musicians are given space on a big stage like ANTV’s anniversary.
“We carry the name of culture. So, we must be proud, we must continue to preserve what we carry as identity,” he said.
The peak night of ANTV’s anniversary presented a special performance that carried the concepts of drama, reality and music in one event entitled INDON3S1A KEREN.
Happy Asmara and Denny Caknan will be the performers on the peak night of ANTV’s 31st Anniversary celebration.
