(ANSA) – ROME, JULY 31 – As of July 17, the PNRR expenditure “was 51.3 billion euros, to date it is 52.2 billion euros”. This was communicated by the Minister for European Affairs, the South, Cohesion Policies and the PNRR, Raffaele Fitto, in a hearing at the joint Senate and Chamber committees on the report on the state of implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, in the first half of 2024. “In a few days we see an advancement in spending that is connected to another very important element that I would like to underline, in the face of 132 billion euros in total tenders for the various interventions, we are faced with interventions activated for 122 billion euros, equal to 92%”, adds the minister. “These are numbers that – for Fitto – indicate very clearly not only the progress of the plan but how the inevitable phase has been overcome” relating to the need to implement the procedures, with the planning and implementation of the tenders, and therefore today the implementation of the interventions “is underway”.
