Five clashes in Jammu and Kashmir; Four terrorists killed, one captured alive | Four terrorists killed in three separate encounters in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: Security forces killed four militants in five separate clashes in Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir police have killed members of Pakistan – based militant groups Jaish-e-Muhammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Kashmir IG said one person was captured alive.

The clashes took place at Chewaklan in Pulwama, Gandharbal in Kashmir and Rajwar Nechama in Handwara. Two were killed in Pulwama and one each in Gandharbal and Handwara.

The clashes erupted after a panchayat member was killed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday. At around 8.50 pm, terrorists opened fire on Shabir Ahmed Mir near his residence in Adoura. Shabeer Ahmed was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead at the scene.
