According to the Judiciary of Mexico CitySchool bullying, known as bullying, is a form of violence against one or more classmates. This taking advantage of the disadvantaged position.
This can cause physical (mainly), social and emotional damage. Most of the time, those who are victims do not defend themselves or report what is happening to an adult due to fear.
Bullying involves aggressors, victims and witnesses, who can support victims and report bullying.
That is why it has been decided to present some short films to raise awareness of these actions that are more common among the student community, mainly in primary and secondary schools.

Partners in crime (2020) / Spain / Dir. Ruben Guindo
With a duration of just 20 minutes, the story talks about Well, a young teenager who is harassed over the years.

Lou (2017) / United States / Dir. Dave Mullins
With a duration of just 6 minutes, this Pixar short film tells the story of Lou, who must endure the behavior of JJ, a bully who takes objects from all the children and whose lesson is given to him by a sweater that comes to life.
“Bullies usually just misbehave because they are clumsy or young and don’t have their moral compass set. In a strange way, sometimes they also feel invisible,” mentioned the director Dave Mullins.
Mariana’s sandwich (2014) / Mexico / Dir. Carlos Cuaron
The Mexican short addresses the story of Mariana, a girl who is harassed by Isabel, who is older than her.
Mariana decides to follow Isabel home one day and discovers some of the reasons why she suffers bullying from her stalker.
Little pig (2018) / Spain / Carlota Pereda
The story focuses on Sara, a girl who is harassed by her classmates because she is an obese teenager.
There are no people to defend her and the plot twist arises when a kidnapper takes one of the bulleadoras away, this generates relief in Sara.
Recently this short was transformed into a film under the direction of Carlota Pereda.
The one in charge (2008) / Spain / Dir. Sergio Barrejon
Martín, a nine-year-old boy, is in charge of his class when the teacher is absent. He must point on the board to the students who speak. It seems like an easy task but a bully starts talking and threatening.
The short shows how school authorities come to not realize what is happening in their own classroom.
