On April 15, 1912, the Titanic sank after colliding with an iceberg in the Atlantic. Lego is now bringing out the legendary ship with the four yellow chimneys as a large model. The set, which costs 630 euros, consists of more than 9,000 components and will be available in Lego stores and online from next week. The assembly results in a 1.30 meter long model ship. The miniature is divided into several fuselage sections that are joined together with central plug-in connections and can also be easily separated again. Not only is the exterior highly detailed, there is also a lot to discover inside: from the staircase of the first class and the dining room on the D-deck to the engine room with replicas of the four-cylinder compound steam engines that powered the Titanic’s outer propellers .
