Located in the “Al Amal” district, this brand new structure was inaugurated during a ceremony marked by the presence, in particular, of the police prefect of Beni Mellal, Tayb Ouali, the governor of the prefecture of the province of Fkih Ben Salah and several civil, military and judicial figures.

The inauguration of this new security establishment, which falls under the Souk Sebt district police station of Ouled Nemma, is part of the implementation of the strategy advocated by the DGSN for the development, modernization and strengthening of security infrastructure.

This police district aims to further strengthen security coverage and bring police services closer to citizens, while ensuring the adoption of a local approach to the population by strengthening these accessibility and reception services in order to meet the needs of users effectively and efficiently.

The building, which covers an area of ​​385 m2, is made up of 2 floors, including a reception office, an administrative certificates office, research offices, a unit dedicated to welcoming women victims of violence and other administrative offices.

In a statement to MAP, the Prefect of Police of Beni Mellal, Tayb Ouali stressed that the inauguration of this new security structure on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the creation of the DGSN aims to improve the quality of reception of citizens in addition to providing optimal working conditions for police officers.

Recalling the efforts of the DGSN in Souk Sebt Ouled Nemma, Mr. Ouali said that the establishment of this district comes after the creation of the first district adjoining the Souk Sebt Ouled Nemma district police station with the aim of strengthening the security vocation of the urban center of Souk Sebt.

The creation of a second district in the “Al Amal” neighborhood on an area of ​​385 meters aims to bring police services closer together for the benefit of 34,000 residents living within a radius of 6 km2, said the Police Prefect.

In recent years, the DGSN has embarked on a vast plan to develop police infrastructure and modernise buildings and security structures in order to provide integrated work spaces that can improve the working conditions of civil servants and the reception of users.
