A woman suffered first-degree burns on her face and hands after a fire broke out in the patio of her house, located in the streets of the Colinas de Santiago neighborhood, east of Saltillothis Saturday morning.

The accident was reported by the residents of Dolores Hidalgo Street, who, upon hearing a roar around 10:20 a.m., alerted the emergency services by calling the number 911. They reported an explosion that involved a gas tank that was still I had a flame.

The tragedy occurred when two dogs that were playing in the yard caused the gas tank to fall and the regulator to fracture, resulting in a gas leak.

When the owner of the house, Estefanía Fabiola Jiménez, 29, opened the door, the flames broke out, the flames reaching her face and hands, as well as the dogs, who suffered burns in various parts of their bodies.
