A pedestrian died overnight from Saturday to Sunday in Paris, mowed down by a motorist fleeing the police after refusing to submit to a check in Pantin (Seine-Saint-Denis), Agence France-Presse learned on Sunday from a police source.
The driver abandoned his car in a street in the 19th arrondissement, in the northeast of the capital, and is still on the run, the same sources added, confirming information from BFMTV.
