It is not a consulate, nor an artistic intervention, nor even a flood of Japanese tourists looking for Picasso’s house. Much simpler: it is a book. Two, actually, and a kind of immersion in Japanese literature to survive the return to routine. With the schedules already dressed in autumn, reading on the bus has returned (Tranvas should apply as a candidate for some campaign to involuntarily encourage reading) and the need to escape from that same autumn that is just around the corner. Like every year, the booths at the Feira do Libro at the beginning of the month become a temptation that is impossible to avoid despite the cries for help from the poor home bookstore. This time the recommendation of Lume and a very short novel by Azi Shimazaki falls. Is called Azumi, el club de Mitsuko, and it leaves in a breath and three trips.
